Good Morning.

I have two Uniden Bearcat Scanners. I have a BC796D and I have a BCD996T.  My question is do I have to download two separate versions of the software, or does it work on both scanners,under one version? I am new to this forum and from what I have seen it looks to be very informative. Thank you in advance.

The 996 is supported, but the 796 isn't.

Not that I would want to dissuade you from using FreeScan, but ProScan will support both your scanners. The URL is http://www.proscan.org
